AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS

During the 71 years of Eternit's existence the Company has received much recognition and nothing is better than the awards received by the market, which confirm its good practices. The various awards collected in the last seven decades, since its foundation, shows that the Company takes the things seriously that it does for all its stakeholders. Below we show a list of the awards received by the Company in 2010.

• Award for quality from APIMEC-SP – 10 best public meetings of the year;
• IBGC award for corporate governance, in the category of "evolution";
• ABRASCA award for best Annual Report, category 2, for companies with net sales below R$ 1 billion;
• Honourable mention for excellence with respect to Investor Relations, awarded by IR Magazine;
• Mérito Lojista Award - Goddess of Fortune trophy granted by the National Confederation of Directors and Storeholders of Brasília;
• Honourable mention by ANAMACO - in the polyethylene water tank category;
• Prize from Anamaco for a widely spread shareholding base, and 2^nd placed in the Large Client class, in the fibre cement category, awarded by ANAMACO;
• 1^st place – 17^th Ranking for industrial image and concept - Ruy Ohtake Trophy – fibre cement category;
• 2^nd place – 17^th Ranking for industrial image and concept - Ruy Ohtake Trophy – polyethylene water tank category, and
• Best Corporate Governance for "Small Cap" category of companies in Latin America, granted by IR Global Rankings.
