We are the largest company in Brazil's shopping mall sector in terms of total gross leasable area, owned gross leasable area and number of malls.We are also the country's largest suppliers of mall management services, as well as leasing and merchandising services.
Our Portfolio
We ended 2012 with 51 malls in our portfolio, comprising 1620.6 thousand m² of total GLA and 934.9 thousand m² of owned GLA, with more than 9,000 stores leased and tenant sales of R$19.6 billion. Our average share of our malls is 57.7% in terms of GLA. Our top 21 malls in terms of NOI account for 80.4% of total NOI and our average share of these malls is 78.7%.
Our portfolio is strategically diversified according to the income levels and geographic position. Our highest concentration of NOI comes from the middle-income group. Brazil's emerging middle class has grown rapidly in recent years and should continue to accompany the strong growth of the country's economy.
Services
BRMALLS ended 2012 providing leasing services to 44 malls in our portfolio and management services to 42, while 35 are serviced by the CSC (shared service center) out of our total of 51 malls.
